Depot Audit Application Procedure

The @tco Asia approval gives clients assurance that the depot has been independently audited for all aspects of:

• Safety of personnel
• The Environment
• Quality of work
• Permits, Government approvals and Insurances
• Disposal of hazardous waste

The system of grading depots, by the facilities available, allows clients to access a depots that can carry out their required repairs/cleaning etc. The grading system identifies the levels of maintenance and repairs available from simple repairs up to and including complete refurbishment and remanufacture.

The Cleaning station grading indicates a cleaning station’s ability to clean:

• chemical only
• food only
• chemical and food

To achieve a chemical and food grade cleaning certification there MUST be totally separate bays for chemical and food grade cleaning.

When the depot audit form has been completed it will be assessed to see if the depot is suitable for the @tco Approved scheme. In the event that the depot complies with all the requirements to become approved a full depot audit will be carried out by an independent surveyor who will report the results back to the Technical Director. Provided that the depot complies in all respects they will then become @tco approved.

Re-approval is required every two years to ensure the depot maintains or improves its standards.

The only cost is incurred by the depot is the survey fee of $500.00 plus travelling expenses. This Audit fee is passed to the independent audit company and @tco being a non-profit making organization makes no further charge.

If a depot is not to the standard required the Technical Director will inform them of the areas that need to be addressed before the full audit, by a surveyor, is carried out. No charge is taken in this case.

All information given by the depots is strictly confidential.  No information is revealed to anyone other than the Technical Director apart from where a translator is required. @tco Asia will not release any information on the content of communications between the Technical Director and the depot.
